How to Get Certified?
Certification programs are available for every dance level.
To undergo certification testing, students must first register as a Member in the Suhaila Salimpour School of Belly Dance™.
Certifications remain valid for one year and may be extended either by either testing for a higher level or completing the requisite number of Continuing Education Credit's (CEC's). More information about maintaining certification status can be found here.
Testing for all dance levels is provided throughout the year at the Suhaila Salimpour School of Belly Dance in El Cerrito, California. Testing will also be held at the conclusion of each Weeklong Workshop. Suhaila's publications and line of instructional videos may assist students with home practice for testing and maintaining proficiency in Suhaila's format.
Certification testing fees:
- Level 1: Basics Breakdown $100
- Level 2: Fundamentals $200
- Level 3: Intermediate $300
- Level 4: Advanced $400
