Maintaining Certification

Certification is valid for TWO years from date of recognition and can be extended by either testing for the next level, or maintaining a certain number of Continuing Education Credit's (CEC's). The following are the number of hours required for each level:

Certification testing fees:

Level 1: 20 CEC Hours
Level 2: 30 CEC Hours
Level 3: 50 CEC Hours (Level 1 classes and workshops are not eligible for Level 3 CECs)
Level 4: 50 CEC Hours (Level 1 classes and workshops are not eligible for Level 4 CECs)
Level 5: 50 CEC Hours (Level 1 classes and workshops are not eligible for Level 5 CECs)
25 TA Hours
Conceptual CEC assignments

CEC's can only be obtained through an authorized instructor of the Suhaila Salimpour School of Dance. Completion of CEC's must be documented by sending an email (or mailing the information requested below to P. O. Box 8612, Landscape Station, Berkeley, CA 94707.)
